Monster Musume no Oishasan – Chapter 10: The Sad Cyclops
Although they don’t have to convince Skadi just yet, Glenn, along with Sapphee and Cthulhy, seek the help of artisanal Cyclops to create what is necessary for the operation. Since they have to be tools capable of cutting a dragon’s scales, the needle is the most complicated. Which is in the hands of Memé its manufacture.
Meanwhile, Arahnia practices sewing under the guidance of Dr. Glenn and uses Kunai’s help for her practice. Although she does not yet have the same skills as Glenn, Arahnia has gradually started to improve in this regard. Shortly after receiving a visit from Illy who told them Memé passed out in the workshop, they go to see his condition. In the end, Memé wasn’t sick, just dizzy.
The dizziness was caused by his efforts in making the needle. A cyclops with a lack of confidence
While Memé had appeared in one before previous episode, in the Monster Musume no Oishasan – In Chapter 10, the character had its most detailed presentation. Mention of general details of the Cyclops that I would never have thought of on my own. Of course, many details are irrelevant.
One of the details that I was familiar with was their poor depth perception, after all, they only have one eye. Something to accept, I was hoping that they would talk a little more on the subject and take advantage of the fact that the protagonist is a doctor. Just to know out of curiosity if there is something that will help them to improve their perception, for example “special glasses” … or would it be considered a monocle?
Other than that, the other features of the Cyclops that piqued my curiosity were pretty insignificant. Just as they blush, what at least in Monster Musume no Oishasan it’s the same as anyone with two eyes. I honestly thought I was going to change something, but I don’t know exactly what, although I don’t mind that it’s normal too.
While the other curiosity I had was the existence of “eyebrows”. In this case, you only have one eyebrow on the left side of your eye. In that regard, I honestly didn’t know what to expect if the lack of eyebrows, or a single eyebrow covering the entire top of the eye, was a “super eyebrow.” Though more rational, both options were absurd in their own way. More than anything, because their facial expressions would look too strange. Of course, I can’t deny that having a single eyebrow on one side of the eye is very normal. That way, it seems strange to me, even if it gives the character a better aesthetic.
Speaking of Memé now, I find this shy personality interesting in connection with his species. Since then, the first thing I’ve imagined is a shy character who tries to hide his eyes so as not to peek at anyone. Something that obviously concerns a Cyclops. Because of this, part of me hoped she was even more shy.
The seiyuu that is gives ounces to meme Miho okasakiwho has also done it with characters like: Mary Hunt ((Hamefura), Rimuru storm ((Tensei shitara slime Datta Ken), Miku Nishio ((Ongaku Shoujo TV), among other.
I like the character in general, with a good balance between their aesthetic appearance, voice and personality. While I don’t see her as my favorite at all, I think she has a chance to be one of Glenn’s harems.
The last step to surgery
Honestly, I was hoping to see a little more sharpness Monster Musume no Oishasan – Chapter 10 to convince Skadi of an operation. After all that I’m not going to deny, I’m a little disappointed with the minimal appearance that Skadi had in this chapter. At least watch a short scene where Glenn was speaking to Skadi to suggest surgery, even if the scene didn’t include any sound from the characters. But so that Glenn is shown talking to Skadi instead of Kunai.
Speaking of which, in this little scene I have to admit that Skadi reminded me a bit of the secondary branch of the Hyuuga in the Naruto. Maybe it was because she herself regards her illness as her fate, or maybe she just wants to see the young man again. Uzumaki In the exams Chuunin.

We’re getting closer and closer to the end, which surprises me a little when I see the part of the story we’re in. Now since Monster Musume no Oishasan – Chapter 10 is not the penultimate episode (but the penultimate one). I feel like the operation came too early. I honestly imagined her on the last episode to end the season. So I felt a bit rushed. Of course, there can be setbacks in the next episode that extend the process to more than one chapter.
