The latest edition of the Shogakukan weekly Great cartoon ghosts revealed that Jagaaan, the horror manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Kensuke Nishida, also known as JAGAN in Italy, has recently peaked and will soon feature the "final battle".

Kaneshiro and Nishida published the manga in February 2017 on the pages of the Big Comic Spirits mentioned above and published 11 volumes on September 30, 2020. In Italy, the work is translated and distributed by Edizioni Star Comicswho recently published Volume 9. The summary is as follows: "A rain of frogs pours from the sky! These mysterious parasites of uncertain origin lurk in humans and turn them into outrageous monsters with murderous anger due to the wishes suppressed in their subconscious! Jagasaki, a frustrated young patrolman who dreams of being able to shoot someone, becomes "possessed" by a parasite that is still in a larval state and thanks to this he manages to maintain his rationality even though his body is beginning to change. ..".

The series has already inspired live action that was released exclusively in Japan in 2014 There has been a lot of talk about a possible anime adaptation in the past two years. The two authors haven't revealed any future plans, but we can expect an announcement in early 2021.
