It was Anime Expo 2022 when it was announced that the Shonen comedy written by Fumita Yanagida would have received an anime transposition. The announcement accompanied the first trailer for Tomo-chan is a Girl!.

On paper Tomo Aizawa finally managed to explain himself to Jun'ichirou Kubota, his precious childhood friend. But a surprise awaited them: for years he was convinced that Tomo was a boy.

Aniplex via its YouTube channel on November 27, 2022 is streaming the Full Promotional Video Of Tomo-chan Is A Girl!, available at the top of the page. From the first seconds, the promo explores the relationships between students. There's no shortage of comical, romantic, and over-the-top scenes. As per the trailer credits, the ending will be played by Rie Takahashi, Rina Hidaka, and Sally Amaki as their respective characters. Also on Tomo-chan's official website is a girl! A new colorful key visual has been released to appear at the bottom of the messages.

The first two episodes were unveiled at the Anime New York Convention, but the public product will debut on Crunchyroll on January 4th. The manga is now in its eighth volume in Japan. So there are many Anime announcements for 2023including Tsurune: The Linking Shot, will debut on January 4th.
