A few months ago, Kadokawa had confirmed that the summer would conclude The Devil is a Part-Timer, the famous series of easy novels by Satoshi Wagahara, which even received a lucky anime adaptation in 2013. According to fans, however, the ending would have turned out to be “catastrophic” and consequently The first threats arrived.

The story bears some similarities to what happened to the writer of Domestic Girlfriend a few months ago. Even in this case, the conclusion did not satisfy the fan base, and a few hours after it was published, the first death threats came. For those unfamiliar with the job, remember that the protagonist of Hataraku Maou-sama! It is Satan, the lord of demons, who is about to conquer the archipelago of Duck Isla, a fantastic world where the forces of good and evil collide. Before Satan is defeated by a hero, he decides to retire and reorganize himself with the devoted General Alsiel. He opens a passage and, despite himself, reappears in Tokyo this year. Stripped of his powers and demonic form, the villain must find a part-time job and prepare to return to his world. One day the heroine Emilia awaits him at the door of his apartment, who is also in the passage to not let his enemy escape.
