The rage of the giants hit TVs and streaming services in the now distant 2013, 10 years ago now. From then on, with its first 24 episodes, Attack of the Giants became part of collective pop culture, infecting the whole world. The work, adapted from Hajime Isayama’s manga of the same name, is not finished yet.
The last chapter of the Attack of the Giants manga has been released in Japan for two years, while a few months later it was the turn of the last tankobons. However, those who exclusively follow the anime haven’t had a chance to savor the ending of the story of Eren Jaeger and his friends. The trailers for the Attack on Titan finale have now made it clear what will be covered in the first part, which will arrive in early March 2023.
And it’s precisely because of this approach to the release of the hour-long special that Studio MAPPA and the official Twitter account are working on a countdown. It was released on February 27, four days before closing an illustration from Attack on Titan with Eren, Armin and Mikasa. This image below, drawn by Takuya Suezawa, shows the three boys hitchhiking.
Eren is not wearing a coat or shirtwhen trying to hitchhike. Behind him is a red car with the hood open, and nearby are Armin and Mikasa trying to understand the situation in hopes of fixing the vehicle. Obviously a scene that will never be seen in the anime. Instead, to know what will be there, here is a summary of what will be in Attack on Titan Final Part 1.
