Ash Ketchum and Pikachu's departure marked a significant change of pacePokemon souls. The project, which has been going on for over twenty-five years, will change radically in its presentation, with other characters and creatures conducting the orchestra, but the formula will always remain the same. We'll be leaving with Liko and Roy shortly.

Pokemon Horizons will see the two guys along with many new characters like Captain Pikachu, the anime's new yellow mouse. But there won't be only the television version with these characters, as another project has been announced in number 05 by Ciao, a well-known Shogakukan magazine that has been publishing Pokémon manga under its label for years.

The manga will start in a few weeks Pokémon Horizons: Liko no Takaramono (Liko's Treasure). The manga targets Shojo and begins on May 2, 2023, mainly focusing on Liko, the new duo's girl, and her travels in the Pokémon world. It will be Kahori Orito, mangaka who published the gal-gaku manga in the same magazine in the past to deal with story and drawings.

The Shojo goal, or aimed at teenage girls, is therefore for the direction to focus on the new protagonist of the Pokémon series. It is available below the preview of Pokemon Horizons: Lino no Takaramono, with the young coach surrounded by Paldea's three starters, namely Fuococo, Quaxly and Sprigatito. The cadence of the story will be monthly and will be different from the actual adaptation of the anime in the manga version as of April 14, 2023 on Coro Coro Comics.
