On the official Twitter account for light novels by Tsukasa Fushimi and illustrated by Hiro Kanzaki, Don't pray Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (also known as Pray) it was announced that the new alternate route based on the character Ruri Gokou (Kuroneko) will have a manga adaptation.

Customization is the responsibility of the illustrator Airi Mori and will begin in the magazine Monthly Shonen Ace from the publisher Kadokawa on a date that has not yet been confirmed.

For his part, Tsukasa Fushimi began to publish the light novels through the publisher Kadokawa in August 2008 with illustrations by Hiro Kanzaki. The main line ended with twelve volumes, the last was published in June 2013.

However, six years later, in August 2019, a new volume was released that started a new route based on the character Ayase Aragaki that covered volumes 13 and 14. The author confirmed new volumes covering alternate routes for the characters Ruri Gokou (Kuroneko) and Kanako Kurusu, with Kuroneko starting the fifteenth volume of the novels, due for release on September 10 in Japan.

Synopsis of Oreimo

Kyosuke Kosaka is an ordinary 17 year old boy who lives in Chiba and has had a terrible relationship with his sister Kirino for the past few years. However, one day Kyosuke finds a DVD with a magical anime girl in the driveway of his house. To his surprise, there was actually an Eroge (an adult game) in the box, and he soon discovers it belongs to Kirino. Fortunately, this fact seems to be the trigger for a reconciliation between the two.
