In this year's 10th issue of the magazine Da Vinci from the publisher Kadokawa It has been announced that the manga adaptation of the film will be based on the novels by Seiko Tanabe, Josee after Torah after Sakana-tachi, will end in its next chapter on October 6th.

The adaptation was published in January of this year in the Da Vinci magazine of the Kadokawa publishing house and is illustrated by Nao Emoticowho also works as a character designer for the film project.

The film is scheduled to premiere in Japanese cinemas on December 25th and will be produced by the studios bone, Headed by Kotaro Tamura. Tanabe published the original novels in 1985 as part of a collection of short stories. The work inspired a live-action film released in 2003.

Synopsis of Josee after Torah after Sakana-tachi

The story revolves around the relationship between Tsuneo and Josee. Tsuneo is a student and Josee is a girl who rarely leaves the house alone because she cannot walk. The two meet when Tsuneo meets Josee's grandmother while they are both walking.
