One of the highest moments of the pirate epic, told by the master Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE , was linked to the Marineford saga in which we had to say goodbye to two very important characters: Emperor Edward Newgate, Whitebeard, and one of his “sons”, the Portuguese D. Ace.

One fan remembered these tables full of emotion and wanted to imagine a parallel story of what if it were about the arrival of another emperor at the former naval headquarters: Kaido, captain of the Pirates of the Hundred Beastswhat we learned in the newest story arc in the land of Wa.

The artist Ricky Acong has dedicated two chapters to this particular story in which he has managed to contextualize the appearance of the emperor with a style that is very faithful to that of Oda. To know that Whitebeard would come to the aid of his student Kaido went to Marineford to confront him.

Not even Shanks the Red and his crew managed to stop Kaido’s advance, whose appearance worries even the most important representatives of the Navy. Kaido doesn’t believe the news of Whitebeard’s death and walks over to Newgate’s body, which is still standing after numerous injuries is moved and remembers the dream of her old captain Rocks D. Xebec.

On the next page, Kaido asks who killed him and after unleashing his anger with a shock wave and discovering the perpetrator’s identity. hits Blackbeard. You can find the full story in English by following this link. At the bottom of the news you can find the cover of the project.

Recall that Nami disguised as Kunoichi is about to come to life in a beautiful cosplay, and in the final chapter it appears that Luffy has found a new ally.
