The headline of the thirty-first volume of the manga's compilation, written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo, Enen no Shouboutai (Firepower), confirmed that the literary franchise has exceeded 17 million accumulated copies in circulation. The count also includes digital copies sold, and the volume in question will be released in Japan on October 15.

Firepower

On the other hand, Ohkubo publishes the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha since September 2015. The piece inspired a twenty-four episode anime adaptation produced by the studios David production, released in July 2019. A second season, also with 24 episodes, aired during the 2020 summer season, especially since July 3 in Japan. The platform Funimation distributes the series in the west and produces a Spanish dubbing for both seasons.

Summary of the fire brigade

Terror paralyzed the residents of Tokyo after a phenomenon known as "spontaneous burns" turned its residents into a kind of flaming demon called infernials. Even so, some people are able to deal with flames and maintain their human form, which gives them special abilities that they categorize into first, second and third generation pyrokinetics. In this chaos, our protagonist Shinra Kusakabe, a third generation pyrokinetic, joins the eighth company of the Fire Force Special Unit, which is trying to discover the truth behind the phenomenon of human combustion.
