There is bad news for the fans. A few weeks after Studio Pierrot's decision to suspend the release of the Boruto anime, news arrives that the manga of the same name will also suffer the same fate. Masashi Kishimoto's series is preparing to bid farewell to fans. The Boruto manga will go on a long hiatus.

Right at the climax, when the work has caught the attention of the congregation, comes a heavy blow. There The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga series is on pausejust like some time ago for the anime.

The news comes in conjunction with Boruto Chapter 80 spoilers arriving on April 20, 2023 on MangaPlus. Upon release, the series will be officially paused. It will not be a brief break in an ordinary month, as sometimes happens. The Boruto's manga will be on hiatus for three months and won't be back until August.

The cause of this stop can be traced back to this, as was the case with the adaptation by Studio Pierrot Celebrations for the 20th anniversary of Naruto. Masashi Kishimoto had promised to make a spin-off manga about the Narutop99 poll winner. The author therefore had to inevitably interrupt work on Boruto to focus on the new prequel manga by Minato Namikaze.
