The threat of code is becoming more concrete. The antagonist’s action plan in chapter 68 of Boruto implemented, and much as Shikamaru anticipated his moves, the appearance of an important and powerful Code ally has turned the tide, angering Amado and putting Konoha in serious jeopardy.

A splendid color table with the new Delta opens the chapter entitled “prisoners‘, and immediately brings the reader back to the bizarre situation Amado and Shikamaru find themselves in. Beyond Code, Ada also arrived at the lab, leaving the scientist terrified and easily repelling any attack from Delta. During Shikamaru is shocked at the turn of eventsthe scene switches to Boruto and Sasuke.

Students and teachers discuss what happened in the fight with Code, specifically Kawaki’s actions, which would surely have killed the protagonist if Momoshiki Otsutsuki hadn’t intervened. When Boruto, once the discussion is over, tries to give again the hat that belonged to Sasukethe latter tells him to keep it, and as we know Uzumaki will keep it until the fight with Kawaki shown in the opening charts of the sequel.

The scene then moves on to Sarada and Mitsuki, who, a few meters from Sasuke and Boruto, decide to channel all the worries and anger that arise from recent events in order to improve and be able to pursue their dreams. In the meantime Kawaki recoveredand as soon as he opens his eyes, Naruto tries to establish normal dialogue and tells the boy that Boruto survived his attack.

Hokage and Sasuke are warned of the danger in Laboratory 3, where Ada is operating undisturbed. Through one of Ino’s techniques, Shikamaru and Amado manage to communicate among them, without speaking, and answering the advisor’s various questions, the scientist quickly describes Eida’s abilities. According to Amado, all present are prisoners, victims of his charm, which can captivate anyone on a subconscious level.

Code attacks by blocking Amado, hitting him at a point where many nerve endings converge. Given the desperate situation Shikamaru then decides to contact Eida directly, and asks her what makes her want to work with Code. As the girl reveals, she has no interest in the former Kara member’s actions while she is attracted to Kawaki. After receiving an answer, Shikamaru uses it to his advantage. suggests Eida to side with Konohaa decision that would allow her to make Kawaki herself.
