On the official page for the original anime MAPPA, Avex pictures and Cygames, Zombieland sagawho have favourited sales information for the compilation of Blu-ray packages of the second season of the project entitled Zombieland Saga Revenge. This information confirmed that the series will have a total of twelve episodes.
- Package 1 (episodes 1 to 4) - June 25, 2021.
- Package 2 (episodes 5 to 8) - July 30th, 2021.
- Package 3 (episodes 9-12) - August 27, 2021.
The series has aired in Japan since April 8, 2021, while the platform Crunchyroll takes care of international sales. The first season with twelve episodes was produced by the studios MAPPA and published in October 2018. A manga adaptation by the hand of Megumu Soramichi will be published through the service Cycomi from the publisher Cygames since October 2018.

- Kasumi Fukagawa ((IDOLiSH7, Taisou Zamurai) he came back to take care of the character designs.
- Yasuharu Takanashi ((Bishoujo Senshi Sailor moon crystal, Fukigen na Mononokean), returns to compose the soundtrack in collaboration with Funta7.
- The Franchouchou music unit plays the opening song entitled “Taiga yo Tomo ni Naite Kure” and the closing song entitled “Yume wo Te ni, Modoreru Basho mo Nai Hibi wo”.
Zombieland Saga Synopsis
Sakura Minamoto dreams of becoming an idol. Unfortunately, reality hits her like a truck (literally) and she dies in a sudden car accident. Ten years later, she wakes up in Saga Prefecture and becomes a zombie with no memory of her past. While accepting her new fate, she meets a man named Koutarou Tatsumi, who explains that he resurrected her and six other girls from other eras as zombies in an effort to economically revive Saga Prefecture by creating a group of idols.
Koutarou takes on the role of an aggressive manager and starts planning events. The girls finally accept it and decide to name their idol group "Franchouchou". An absurdly comical take on the anime idol genre, Zombieland Saga tells the poignant story of Franchouchou saving the Saga Prefecture while hiding his identity as a zombies and rediscovering his past.
