A new original anime entitled “Say You (Seiyuu) to Yo Asobi” was produced during the program Taiso Samurai. This production is responsible for the studios MAPPA.

The premiere of the series is planned for October 10th via the TV channel’s NUMAnimation TV block TV Asahi. The studio had previously confirmed the production of an original anime, but the details were only confirmed today.

  • Kasumi Fukagawa ((Zombieland saga, IDOLiSH7) is responsible for the character design.
  • Masaru Yokoyama is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack.

Taiso Samurai Synopsis

The story takes place in 2002 and focuses on the once unbeatable Japanese men’s gymnastics team. Shoutarou Aragaki, the former member of the Japanese team who dedicated his life to gymnastics, can no longer keep up with his expectations. Although he trains tirelessly day after day, his Amakusa trainer advises him to give up. However, a certain encounter will change Aragaki’s sad fate.
