Among the big rookies of 2022 we find Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury, a new anime series of the legendary franchise that tries to renew the classic formula to appeal to a younger audience. Suletta’s adventure is not over yet and will continue very soon.

Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is the first anime in the franchise to feature a female protagonist. Sulettaa lonely girl from the planet Mercury who transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology to learn how control a mobile suit. The anime’s first season, released in late 2022, totaled 12 episodes and proved to be a welcome surprise for viewers. In fact, Gundam: The Witch from Mercury gave preference to Crunchyroll.

Coinciding with the announcement of the home video edition of Season 1, due for release in March 2023, the staff of Sunrise has announced the release date of Mercury Season 2 of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch. The animated series returns in the spring season, more precisely from April 9th.

It has already been confirmed that the The second season of Gundam: The Witch from Mercury will consist of another 12 episodes which will accompany viewers until the end of June 2023. We remind you that this is an original anime, not based on manga or light novels, and for this reason it is not yet known if this will be the last part of the story or if the series will be renewed once more.
