Tokyo Revengers by Ken Wakui is one of the most popular and best-selling works of recent years. Kodansha’s popular hit won audiences over by blending sci-fi time travel with the criminal gangs so popular in 1990s Japan. However, the series is about to hit a pivotal point.
In the 46th issue of the year of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, the magazine in which the manga will be published, it was revealed that with the next chapter coming out, the October 19th Tokyo Revengers will reach the climax of its final story arc.
That date will coincide with a special announcement, according to key informants. It is assumed that this announcement refers to the Tokyo revengers season 2, which is due out in January. As such, a more accurate release date may be announced on October 19, or a trailer of Tokyo Revengers 2 showing the Christmas Showdown arc may be released.
Tokyo Revengers therefore has big news in store for fans, but they could also refer to the ending of the manga. The Japanese magazine will probably reveal which chapter the work concludes with, or even unveil a new spin-off.
