Cyclic theThe Japanese anime industry ends up in the middle of a cyclone. This time, the controversy was sparked by the recent comments of Matt Walsh, a far-right political commentator who describes himself as a “theocratic fascist”. Souls urge viewers to devote themselves to Satan, that is his charge.

Daily Wire columnist and author of The Matt Walsh Show podcast, Walsh is known for his constant teasing. This time he has his sights set on the souls he has gravely accused.

As we can see in the excerpt at the bottom of the article, when a user Walsh asked what he thought of anime in generalreplied the provocateur, associating them with Satan. β€œThey are very popular with teenagers and young adults. I find it all satanic.”

After this statement, however, Walsh then went on to say it himself no arguments for this thesis and not knowing how to explain why souls are satanic. His only justification was: “That’s how it seems to me. All anime strike me as weird, bizarre, and disturbing.”

Finally the columnist said so Adults should never watch anime movies or series. In the past, Brazilian television has also fought against anime, accusing the Japanese industry of disrupting the psyche of teenagers.

Apparently, it is not even necessary to address these allegations, which would otherwise only have a greater resonance. Suffice it to say, by Walsh’s own admission, his words they don’t have an ounce of logic and are not supported by concrete data. We recall instead that 100 mangaka have joined a charity auction in favor of Ukraine, victim of a serious international crisis.
