The extraordinary fall 2022 anime schedule has led to a great wave of news and expected returns. Among these nostalgic titles, the month of October welcomes one alongside Bleach: The Millennial War lumenthe remake of the hit anime series released in the 1980s.

Produced by David Productions, the animation studio behind all seasons of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, the remake of the anime inspired byThe legendary manga by Rumiko Takahashi It has already made its debut with an ironic and nostalgic first installment. Unfortunately, no streaming service is currently distributing the project in Europe.

Previously, Fuji TV announced the number of episodes of Lum. These will not faithfully recreate the original story as the anime remake will only adapt the best parts of the work. So Lum 2022 will be a kind of “Best of”, with Rumiko Takahashi not involved in selecting the episodes. but how many episodes the remake of Lum consists of?

Lum 2022 will have a total of 46 episodes, but it will be divided in a split-cour formula. These will be divided into four blocks, two of which will be broadcast consecutively in Japan. Hence the charisma of the Lum’s first season will have a total of 23 episodes.
