On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Takumi Fukui Y Shinya umemuraand illustrated by Ajichika, Shuumatsu no Valkyrie (Recording of Ragnarok) a new promotional video for the second season of the project was released. The video confirms that The series will consist of fifteen episodes in total.With The first part (episodes 1 to 10) scheduled for January 26, 2023 worldwide one NetflixY the second part (episodes 11 to 15) scheduled for sometime in 2023.
The press release also revealed the theme songs for season two, which feature the opening theme performed by minami and titled “Rude rose dance“, and the closing theme performed by masatoshi ono and titled “Inori“. Finally, the first season will be re-aired in Japan on TOKYO MX, BS11 and MBS Television from January 10, 2023.
The first season premiered worldwide in the platform’s catalogue Netflix in June 2021 with a total of twelve episodes. For their part, Fukui, Umemura, and Ajichika began publishing the manga through the magazine Monthly Comic Zenon from the publisher Tokuma Shoten in November 2017. The work already has more than 14 million cumulative copies in circulation.

Summary of Shuumatsu no Valkyrie
High above the human realm, the gods of the world have gathered to decide one thing: the survival of humanity. Under the leadership of Zeus, the deities of ancient Greece, Norse mythology and Hinduism, among others, convene a gathering every thousand years to decide the fate of mankind.
