Introduced during the Tsunade Research Arc, Narutos Akatsuki has become an iconic organization also outside of the world of manga and anime. Masashi Kishimoto has created a diverse group of individuals with great charisma who are perfectly able to play the role of antagonists of the various narrative strands of the series.

Shortly thereafter, Itachi joined Uchiha, then Kisame, Deidara and finally Hidan, the last member to enter Nagatos Akatsuki.
With the death of the latter, the organization officially passed into the hands of Tobi, who owned the small group of Sasuke, Karin, Jugo and Suigetsu.
