In the summer of 2022, the Shangri-La Frontier anime adaptation was officially announced. Since then, the production has remained in the dark, at least until now. This was revealed by a new commercial Release window of series inspired by Katarina’s web novel.
The first PV trailer from Shangri-La Frontier reveals when the anime will debut. The customization will do its thing Debuting in the 2023 fall seasonand thus early October, on Crunchyroll’s streaming schedule.
The promotional clip introduces the viewer to the plot. Shangri-La Frontier follows the story of Rakuro Hizutome, a sophomore whose favorite hobby is playing low-key video games. His pad-in-hand skills are second to none, and when introduced to a new VR game, he’ll skip the prologue to dive straight into the action. But will Rokuro be able to discover the hidden secret of Shangri-La Frontier?
