Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld Episode 18 has been available for a few days, but the web just can’t stop praise the work of the guys from A-1 Pictures. The episode staged a great fight with Asuna indeed, and showed the return of two important characters.
In addition to Kirito, who finally woke up after a year and a half of waiting, she is also back with a brief cameo Konno Yuuki, the unbeatable swordswoman featured in the anime’s second season. The girl is the creator of the eleven shot craft “Rosario’s mother“, inherited from Asuna after her death.
During the fight between Asuna and PoH, the former is put on the ropes due to the extraordinary strength of the antagonist. PoH is now ready to deliver the coup de grace, however Asuna receives the unexpected help of her friend’s ghostand thus awakens its latent power. Below you can see an excerpt from the battle, excellently animated by A-1 Pictures.
Yuuki had reappeared once during the film Sword Art Online: Order Scaleand helped Asuna during the last fight so she could use her original technique. Again, Kirito’s partner managed to defeat PoH with mother’s Rosario.
