Confirming the departure of Ash Ketchum as the protagonist in the next series of Pokemon surprised many fans of the universe created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996. However, Aim to Be a Pokémon Master proves to be a great homage to the origins of the series, and the surprises don't seem to be over yet given the titles of the next installments.

The March 17, 2023 episode titled "Ashes on Latias' reveals one of the sequences released in the preview to promote the series. The protagonist will fly together with Latias, whom he met at the beginning of the series and treated by himself to reach an undefined destination. The following week, on March 24, 2023, we will see the final episode instead "Rainbow and Pokemon Masters', which could foreshadow Ash's arrival in an unknown dimension or place, unpublished in the anime but present in the video games, and his meeting with the legendary Ho-Oh that led him on his incredible journey years earlier.
