A press release from the editors of Square Enix reported that the manga was written and illustrated by Yu Morikawa, Mr. Villain's day off (Kyujitsu no Whyono-san), will have a starring anime adaptation shintarou asanuma as Warmono-san.

Morikawa started publishing the manga through the digital service. Gangan Pixiv in December 2018. Other works by the author include “Hiru to Yoru no Oishii Jikan", "Boku no twins (My twins)” and “Luciole wa Yume wo Miru“.

  • Yoshinori Odaka (Bem, Armed Blue Gunvolt, Cross Fight B-Daman) is responsible for directing the anime at the studios Shin-Ei animation And SynergySP.
  • midori gotou (Blood Plus, Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun, Hoozuki no Reitetsu) is responsible for writing and supervising the screenplays.
  • Tomomi Shimazaki (Youkai Apartment no Yuuga na Nichijou, Ten Count, Happy Come Come) is responsible for character design and animation direction.
  • Nobuaki Nobusawa (Dagashi Kashi, Koi to Uso, Kanata no Astra) composes the soundtrack.

As a member of an evil organization, Warmono-san is on a mission to invade Earth and wipe out humanity. But even an extraterrestrial being like him needs rest. Not even the Rangers, a team focused solely on taking down the General and his buddies, won't stop themselves from visiting the pandas at the zoo, buying ice cream from the store, and enjoying their well-deserved day off at Mischief.
