A new promotional video for the original four-episode anime was released during the 2020 Netflix Anime Festival ~ The Future of Anime Together ~. Eden. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for May 2021.
It had already been announced that the premiere was planned for this year’s fall season, but it has been delayed for unspecified reasons. The premiere will take place worldwide via the platform Netflix and the statement also revealed a new promotional image for this project.

Eden synopsis
The science fiction and fantasy story takes place thousands of years in the future, when a city called “Eden 3” is inhabited entirely by robots whose former masters have long since disappeared. In a new routine task, two farm robots accidentally awaken a human girl from stasis by questioning everything they have been taught to believe – that humans are nothing more than an ancient forbidden myth. Together, the two robots secretly raise the girl in a safe haven on the outskirts of Eden 3.
