Despite the jokes that are often made on the net, even in ONE PIECE there are dead characters. Many of them are undoubtedly linked to the past, with some personalities who have died recently, such as Portgas D. Ace or Pedro. However, the legendary figure of characters like Roger, Oden or Rocks is always present.
It has been years since the end of Oden Kozuki’s adventures that culminated in his death or the execution of Gol D. Roger. But what would these characters have been like if they hadn’t died? A well-known fan and especially illustrator decided to create a what if from ONE PIECE where Roger, Oden, Bellmere, Rocks and others are still alive.
We start with the video below, which shows a 77-year-old Gol D. Roger in the first cartoon, with a lot of wrinkles on his face and his hair now white. The second choice is an Oden Kozuki shogun from Wano, also very old, with white hair but only partially, now 69 years old. Then there’s still room for a 56-year-old Toki Kozuki, Oden’s wife, who still retains a great deal of charm even as she’s more mature. Whitebeard, on the other hand, is older than ever at 74.
In the second row, pass on to someone younger: Kuina, who would have turned 22 in ONE PIECE. With a look reminiscent of Tashigi, the swordswoman is determined to face the dangers of the seas. Ace, on the other hand, wouldn’t have changed much, even at 22 years old, only 2 more than when he died. There is also dr. Hillk, still old but with a blue and pink chopper hat. The last box of the second row is dedicated to Nico Olvia, Robin’s mother, instead.
The last row is instead dedicated to Bellmere, a Corazon is officially a member of the Navy and finally to Rocks D. Xebec with white hair but a frightening aura. But the scene certainly steals the last person inserted: the Luffy’s mother, which Norridzuan obviously made up entirely, since nothing is known about her. Would you like to see her alive? This is what Roger’s crew would look like if they were all alive and united.
