Despite the great dangers that the protagonists have to face in the course of their adventures, Eiichiro Oda has very often managed to play with the scenes from ONE PIECE to create a perfect combination of seriousness and comedy. One of the special episodes during the Whale Cake Island saga was the release of Brook.
ONE PIECE episode 823 with the title “The Empress turns – Brook’s big rescue plan!“, forced the protagonists to carry out a shameful plan to save the Mugiwara musician from the clutches of a sleeping empress, Grandmother. The episode has entertained many fans thanks to the excellent game between comedy and epic.
A well-known artist, the usual Wafalotried to reinterpret one of the scenes in the episode by its peculiar style, disturbing and extremely ambiguous. The artwork in question, which you can admire at the bottom of the news, is limited to redrawing one of the anime’s stills with a creepy stroke. The empress indeed it seems so terrible, far more dangerous than its funny looks, can let readers shine through.
