Season five of My Hero Academia is over, and it has been a period of growth for both heroes and villains. Both Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki got stronger in different ways. All of this for building a huge conflict that will come between the two sides next season.

As seen in My Hero Academia Season 5 Finale Post-Credit Scene, Izuku and the various professional heroes gathered all their strength to attack one of the villains' hiding spots.

Then it was announced that we would lead the conflict between the two sides into all-out war, and that is exactly what the first trailer of the new season shows: Tons of heroes jump into action for this decisive war. It is time for the Paranormal Liberation Front war, you can see the trailer above.

The sixth season of My Hero Academia will open the Paranormal Liberation Front War arc of the original manga series by Kohei Horikoshi. Season 5 was a little less action, especially in the second half of the season, but this next story arc will definitely do it again.

So many things happen in the manga over the course of this war, and that's it an event so big that it has permanently changed the status quo of the manga to the point where Izuku and the others are still recovering in the final chapters of My Hero Academia.

The anime will be returning for Season 6 next October as part of the autumn anime season 2022, but a specific release date has not yet been set. That means we'll see a lot more of the new season before it arrives, but we'll also have to wait a long time to see the end of the war.

What do you think of that first look at the next season of My Hero Academia? What do you hope for from the new episodes? Feel free to let us know all of your thoughts in the comments below.
