Prepare for a second serving of the delectable anime adaptation of Ryouko Kui's manga, "Dungeon Meshi" (Delicious in Dungeon), as it returns next week with its second part. The series, initially announced to consist of twenty-four episodes, has been airing in Japan since January 4, with Netflix distributing it in the West.

The new promotional video unveils the opening theme "Fate" by Sumika and the closing theme "Kira Kira no Ash" by Regal Lily. New voice cast members join the adventure, including Mitsuho Kambe, Yoko Hikasa, Arisa Shida, Akari Kito, Yoshino Furuya, and Yu Kobayashi.

Published by Kadokawa since February 2014, the original manga has garnered significant recognition. It secured a spot in the 2016 male readers’ recommendation list, Kono Manga ga Sugoi!, and ranked thirteenth in Da Vinci magazine’s 2015 ranking in Japan.

Synopsis

Laios, his sister Falin, and their guild embark on a perilous journey to defeat a mad wizard. When a dragon devours Falin, Laios, along with Marcille and Chilchuck, re-enter the dungeon to save her. To sustain themselves, they resort to eating dungeon monsters, guided by Senshi, a dwarf with a passion for monster cooking.
