I’m bisque doll wa koi or suru, the Shinichi Fukuda manga also known as My favorite dress-up or with the simple abbreviation I am bisque doll, will soon be receiving an anime adaptation, as announced monthly by Square Enix ‘Young Gangan. No release date is currently known, but The most likely hypothesis is the generic 2022.
If you are unfamiliar with opera, keep in mind that My Dress-up Darling is an ecchi-colored romantic comedy that is extremely famous in the East with over 2 million copies in circulation. The manga reached a spot on the podium of the 2019 Most Recommended Manga Ranking and was ranked sixth in the 2020 Tsutaya Comics Award. It is one of the most valued monthly manga with a sentimental / ecchi background in the west.
Square Enix, who is responsible for the distribution of the manga in the US, describes the plot as follows: “Wakana Gojou is a kind and caring fifteen year old student who is excluded from other classmates and immersed in one of his few passions: making dolls. One day Gojou meets in private Marin Kitagawa, a lovely classmate with an open-minded personality, a lover of video games, anime, and most importantly cosplay. Gojou’s ability to make dolls will come in handy in making costumes, and there will be a bizarre harmony between the two. “
