ONE PIECE jokes a lot about the relationship between Roronoa Zoro and Sanji Vinsmoke, two historical members of the Straw Hat crew. Despite being rivals, the two of them made their very important contribution during the journey that enabled Monkey D. Luffy to become the king of the pirates.
For much of ONE PIECE’s history, their strengths were similar, although Zoro was certainly superior. But in the latest sagas This gap appears to have widened dramatically for a variety of reasons. If Zoro’s strength had initially been offset by the acquisition of the Vinsmoke Raid Suit, the gap in Wanokuni seems to have grown very large, if not insurmountable.
Already the acquisition of Enma by Zoro had brought the swordsman to new levels that were unthinkable for the cook, but in chapter 1010 of ONE PIECE there seems to be another power for Zoro. Indeed it is now Swordsman officially has the Conqueror King’s Hakias well as his captain. An extremely powerful weapon, as Luffy’s attack on Kaido showed on the last pages of the last chapter. Just like characters like Roger, Whitebeard, Oden, and Rayleigh have been doing for many years, Zoro could learn to stick his haki in the cut of his swords and inflict deadly attacks.
On his side, Sanji seems to have very little room for improvement. The chef actually seems to be stuck a dead end that will take him to the maximum level of Jinbe. The raid suit is tough and ideal for various maneuvers, but would not be enough to equate it with the strongest pirates. The events of Wanokuni are not over yet, but it will be important for Sanji that a clash with opponents of King and Queen caliber shows that, despite everything, he is still capable of clashing at the highest level.
