Attack on Titan’s official Twitter confirmed this and shared details for the Season 4 Blu-ray. According to the update, fans have the official status that the second part of the fourth season contains only 12 episodes. The latest of these will debut on April 3rd.

A special and shorter third part of the season could be commissioned to adapt the whole thing, but there’s certainly no way this final episode can adapt everything in one fell swoop. There must be something else in the franchise’s plans, some fans believe a movie is on the way which will adapt the final battle of the manga. This follows several hit anime movies like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the 10th highest-grossing anime movie of all time.
Such a project could even surpass the achievements of its predecessors by bringing results the grand finale in the cinema one of the most viewed anime of all time. But the fact remains that it’s harder for fans around the world to release one film at the same time.
