After working in series like Angel beats! Y. Charlotte, Jun Maeda has returned as the creator of a new original series entitled Kamisama ni Natta Hiwhich has aired in Japan since October 10th. Maeda has participated in several productions over the course of her career and managed to capture and even break the hearts of viewers by being in charge of the stories, scripts and the soundtrack.

Hence the Japanese website DDNavi conducted a lengthy interview of over 20,000 characters with the acclaimed writer and composer. What motivates you to keep writing? And what makes you go beyond the conventional? some of the questions were asked during the question-and-answer session. However, the following comments stood out:

""- Well I think I am able to create an article in support of the play so I want to focus on how interesting episodes 3 and 4 were.
Maeda: No, I don't want you to focus on just two, but on the whole series".

""- (Laughter) I think there is no doubt that there will be no shortage of laughter on the show going forward.
Maeda: Other than that, I don't want you to be so sure. Drawing a lively scene like a festival can add to the impact of a serious scene in the end because the viewer is not expecting it. Rest assured that this is all planned out in advance. I want to emphasize that this time around it's not about "I'm good with jokes so let's go to the comedy"..

""- (laughs) So you know that you're not good at jokes and comedies?
Maeda: Within the industry, I have to say that I'm not very good at creating funny moments on occasion. So I can't assure you that I want you to have fun with this new production.".

After all, the series has aired in Japan since October 10 and is confirmed with a total of 12 episodes. The distribution rights were left to the platform Funimation.
