The character designer and animation director of the second season of the anime is via his official Twitter account Gotoubun no Hanayome ((The fundamental quintuplets), Masato Katsumata, shared an illustration reminiscent of the 11th installment in the series. This illustration plays the main role Itsuki Nakano.

The animation director also shared a number of sketches for some key scene stills from that episode.

However, as they continue to create various situations that delay actual care, Fuutarou becomes more and more involved in their personal life, which further complicates their relationships with one another.

At another point, Fuutarou is slowly beginning to see the existence of a possible link between himself and the past that he believes he shared with one of the five girls.
