On the official page for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Dojyomaru, Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki (How a realistic hero rebuilt the kingdom) various illustrations have been released for the second Blu-ray BOX package of the project. This information also confirmed that the second part will be thirteen episodes in total, making the joint project twenty-six episodes.
The press release contained both the cover of this second compilation package, which includes the fourteenth through twenty-sixth episode and will be released in Japan on April 13; like the illustrations that various distributors in Japan say are supplied as a purchase benefit.
The first part premiered in Japan during the summer 2021 season (July-September) and had a total of thirteen episodes, while the second part has been on the air since last January 8 and is also confirmed with thirteen episodes Funimation responsible for sales in the west. For his part, Dojyomaru Yes Fuyuyuki began publishing the novels through the publisher’s label Overlap bunko from the publisher OVERLAP in May 2016. The piece also inspired a manga adaptation by the hand of Satoshi Uedawhich is published through the website Comic Gardo from the publisher OVERLAP since July 2017.

- May ootsuka (Hanamaru Youchien, Houkago no Pleiades, Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO) is responsible for character design.
- Akiyuki tateyama (Gakuen Basara, Iceland, Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai) is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack, under the direction of Jin aketagawa.
Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki Summary
After his grandfather dies, Kazuya Souma, 19, a budding civil servant, is left alone and has no one to name his family. As if out of nowhere he is transported to the Kingdom of Elfrieden, a sick little country in another world, to be a “hero”. An ongoing war with the demon army has put the whole world in danger and Kazuya has been called as an offering from Elfrieden to her allies to help in the conflict. Unhappy to be used as a tribute, Kazuya decides to help the kingdom revive its ailing economy, not through adventure or war, but through administrative reforms. Suddenly declared King of Elfrieden and promised to the princess, the “royal hero” Kazuya sets out to assemble a group of talented citizens who will help him in his bureaucratic struggles to get the kingdom running again.
