DC Comics has published some tables on Mister Miracle: The Great Escape, the new graphic novel starring Scott Free, written by Varian Johnson and illustrated by Daniel Isles. The story, which should appear in January, tells of the The escape of Mister Miracle from Apokolips, the planet controlled by the fearsome Darkseid.

The premises of Mister Miracle: The Great Escape have their roots in the work of the legendary Jack Kirby, the king of comics, who created Darkseid in The New Gods in 1971, Mister Miracle and all the images of the so-called Fourth World of DC Comics.

Scott Free, Mister Miracle’s alter ego, tries to escape Apokolips, but no one has ever managed to leave the planet of their own accord. In implementing his escape plan Scott has to deal with his childhood trauma on Apokolips, the exploration of his identity and the awareness of having fallen in love with his number one enemy: Big Barda, who is precisely responsible for preventing Scott’s escape at all costs.

In the United States, Mister Miracle: The Great Escape is scheduled for release on January 25, 2022. Below we share the tables provided by DC Comics. As for possible live-action adaptations, Logan Marshall-Green applied for the role of Mister Miracle in a possible movie some time ago. Either way, Warner has canceled the New Gods adaptation that is in development, so it could take some time to see these characters in theaters.
