Yusuke Murata has been engaged since 2012 One punch man, currently his most famous series. However, the origin of One-Punch Man goes back to the webcomic by ONE, also author of Mob Psycho 100, which allowed the Shueisha mangaka to resume his story and see it in much more detail and beauty with this different style.
Until now, Yusuke Murata was considered the sole author of the makeover in manga format, using the boards designed by ONE for the webcomic without the latter participating. But, is this really the truth? According to a recent editorial note, the Work on One-Punch Man is being carried out by both Murata and ONE.
The latter takes care of the names, i.e. the storyboards in which the chapter is conceived and arranged, decides on the division into cartoons and what should be shown in the date to be published. Yusuke Murata is the one who takes care of the drawing instead. A slightly different process, then, that relieves Murata of the part of creating the storyboards that are essential to understanding the management of the chapter.
So too could the change behind One-Punch Man 164 be ONE’s hand, with the original author being able to change something from the webcomic that is still in publication.
It appears that the Murata version of “One Punch Man” was actually created by Yusuke Murata, ONE together, according to a recent editorial note. ONE provides the storyboard (Nemu) and Murata draws it to completion. pic.twitter.com/lyqnF5t2bT
