Years and years before the Dragon Ball story begins, a joint Saiyan attack on Freezer’s forces ravaged grain civilization. The cereleans didn’t survive but one, Granolah, helped grow by the namekkian Monaito. The two then lived peacefully with the Sugarians, the new inhabitants of the planet.
However, Granolah’s desire for revenge has started a new saga in Dragon Ball Super that is rediscovering part of the Saiyans and Bardocks past. But he also unearthed the secret of the Dragon Balls and allowed a group of villains like the Heeter to learn about them and then take advantage of them. The hypothesis for Dragon Ball Super 78 provided for a pause phase in which the Heeter would have collect both cereal balls, and the first page that is previewed confirms all of this.
