Boruto is rumored to be going on an extended hiatus, but for now fans shouldn’t worry about that. There Anime series produced by Studio Pierrot has recently started adapting the events of the manga of the same name by starting a new narrative arc.

Boruto Episode 287 began the Onslaught of Tails saga which resulted in the last of the Kara organization collecting the will of his late master, Isshiki. As his heir, he must complete the mission that failed at Otsutsuki, namely that of rise to a divine existence.

To that end, in Boruto 288, Code released a new ally secluded in one of Boro’s secret lairs. There The Kara’s new ally is Eidaa cyborg built by Amado who was put to rest forever by Jigen due to his incredible power.

Now that he’s free again Eida showed Code his powers. The blue-pink haired girl possesses the senrigan, a dojustsu that makes her omniscient. He also possesses an enchanting ability that only the Otsutsuki can resist. In search of true love, he decides to meet Kawaki and work with Code to feed Boruto to the Ten-Tails.

In Boruto episode 289 Kawaki will find that even though he killed Isshiki, he still hasn’t managed to break the Otsutsuki curse. It is Amado who makes him realize that he will always remain a container waiting to be filled. What will the former Kara Organization scientist, now allied with the Konoha ninja, have in mind?
