The rivalry between Luffy and Blackbeard will continue to the end ONE PIECE. The two seem destined to clash, but at the moment they’re very far apart. Luffy is actually in Egghead with his crew discovering the Vegapunk labs. But an important event is taking place elsewhere.
It starts with Whole Cake Island in ONE PIECE 1063, scene of a kidnapping: someone has frozen crackers while Brulee warns everyone about Pudding’s kidnapping. In Egghead, Luffy and the other three characters in his party manage to find futuristic clothing – Hawaiian for jinbe – inside a machine designed by Vegapunk. The situation heats up immediately when a police robot with the looks of Kuma Bartholomew appears visibly hostile. He starts attacking and Luffy wants to answer, but Bonney stops him by revealing the relationship between the two.
The second chapter focuses on a very different location: in the middle of the sea, Law’s new-size submarine was attacked by Blackbeard. Along with Doc Q, Stronger the horse, Van Augur and Jesus Burgess, the Emperor wants to get his hands on Law’s Poneglyphs. The captain is forced onto an island where he is attacked by the power of all his enemies’ devil fruit In the finale of ONE PIECE 1063, the fight between Law and Blackbeard begins.
