One of the most intense fights in the series Boruto: Naruto the next generations is nearing its end, as is the saga of the Kara organization. Naruto’s spectacular baryon mode manages to face the mighty Isshiki Otsutsuki who has definitely taken over Jigen’s body, but what are the risks the Hokage is taking?
As many of you know, after previously watching the anime or reading the manga, Naruto has made a deal with Kurama to develop such a high power that he can withstand the antagonist. The Nine-Tailed Fox actually informed the Seventh Hokage that by harnessing the power of the Baryon Mode her chakra is constantly being used up, an effect that could be worth its life or that of the Cercoterios.
A promotional image of the next episode, which you can see in the post at the bottom of the page, shows what was probably the last conversation between the two, who have deeply bonded over the years. Naruto appears to be leaning on Kurama’s face, while the latter gives the Hokage a serious and not at all concerned look, despite the consequences of the measures taken against the Isshiki threat.
