On the official social pages ofAnime Black SummonerA new promotional video has been released, revealing more details about Doufu Mayoi and Kurogin’s light novel series adaptation.
The long Black Summoner PV clip allows fans to preview some scenes from the anime. In addition, the acronyms that will be companions to viewers throughout the series are revealed. The opening theme “Ataman Chu Dead End” is performed by Retobea, while the closing theme “Wherever” was entrusted to Minori Suzuki.
Black Summoner anime debuted on July 9th and tells the story of Kelvin, who one day will wake up in an unknown place with no memory of his life. The protagonist traded his memories in exchange for powerful magical abilities. Kelvin becomes a summoner guided by the same goddess that brought him to this parallel world.
The original voiceover names have been announced. Kouchi Uchiyama will play Kelvin, Manaka Iwami will take on the role of Efil and Reina Ueda as Melfina. Black Summoner anime series is produced by Satelight animation studio, directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike. Also on the team are Miwa Oshima, who is creating the characters for the animation, Satoshi Motoyama as the sound director, and MICHIRU and Yuria Miyazono as the music composers.
