Shonen Jump had promised news regarding the Black Clover movie, but Twitter leaks hit a preview. Before the official announcement, they were unveiled relevant information such as release dateAntagonist and poster.

According to a leak, the The film Black Clover will begin streaming on Netflix on October 31, 2023. In addition to the release date, which has not yet been formalized by Studio Pierrot but is nevertheless intended to be international, a key image and the character design of the main antagonist have emerged. This news comes to mark the fifth anniversary of the Black Clover anime.

The movie should be called Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King and should be placed between the Elven Reincarnation arc and the Heart Kingdom Joint Struggle arc in the six months of the protagonists’ training. In the poster at the end of the article, we actually see Asta in the post-battle outfit with the elves and without her right arm affected by Liebe’s influence. The film will therefore be one original story and will not adapt any part of the manga as some have previously assumed.
