Kentaro Miura passed away in May 2021, news that shocked loved ones and saddened his fans around the world. Of course, this also cast a shadow Sequel to Berserker, his magnificent work spanning decades, which now seemed to be nearing its final stage. For a year there was no official news about the sequel.

Usually in Japan, such a situation will result in the manga ending prematurely. This is not the case with Berserkas a statement from Hakusensha distorts the situation and clarifies what the future of dark fantasy comics will be like.

Berserk will continue and will be back shortly as well. In a letter to his readers, Hakusensha states that he has heeded all messages from readers and enthusiasts written at the great memorial to Kentaro Miura. He also confirmed that the mangaka has spoken to both his Studio GAGA assistants and his awesome friend Kouji Mori future developments of Berserk, by imagining different events to be told in the final phase of his manga. He made the same speeches with his editor. Also found were notebooks containing notes and ideas, as well as the character designs he left behind.

Not to let these notes and ideas go unnoticed, Berserk will continue the release and the first chapter will be released on June 24, 2022 on cub. Though imperfect and not designed by Miura, his assistants believe they can give fans the most faithful idea possible of what the master Miura had in mind.

The next issue begins the first of six chapters that bring the saga of the island of elves to a close, while later a new narrative arc begins. The credits are as follows: Original work by Kentaro Mouri, drawings by Studio GAGA, supervised by Kouji Mori. And the latter has published a letter for the readers alongside that of Hakusensha to explain the decisions to retake Berserk.

About 30 years ago, he had an argument with Kentaro Miura, who revealed that he had to draw the Eclipse, one of the most difficult moments in his manga. From that point on, everything Miura planned was carried out very precisely, and Kouji Mori knew everything. Precisely because of this, he emphasizes, he also knows everything that will happen in the future, including the end. He's the only one who knows the whole Berserker storyKentaro Miura has not revealed it to anyone.

The moment that started it all was during the preparations for Berserk 364, the final chapter designed by Kentaro Miura and published by Hakusensha last year. Studio GAGA contacted Kouji Mori and asked him to take a look at the manuscript, where some pages were missing and some characters weren't even drawn. At that moment he realized the responsibility and decided not to give in, knowing what was about to happen. With the help of Miura's talented assistants and Editor-in-Chief Shimada, Kouji Miura has decided to stay true to all the stories that Kentaro Miura made.

That Berserk Chapter 365 comes on Young Animal number 13 on June 24, 2022 with Studio GAGA for the drawings and mangaka Kouji Mori to oversee everything.
