The news comes officially from the studio TMS Entertainment, which will adapt the manga Hanma Baki – Son of Ogre. This is Baki’s third series on Netflix and promises to be a direct sequel to the most recent anime Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen. The plot will follow in this saga too the story of underground wrestler Baki Hanmain constant pursuit of his father, the strongest living being on earth, Yūjiro “Ogre” Hanma.

Grappler Baki is a martial arts manga published in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion by Akita Publishing. The manga consists of a total of 42 volumes and has a total of over 63 million copies in circulation. An anime was drawn from this work, which was divided into two seasons, and an OVA. Years after its publication, the first chapter is completely redesigned by Grappler Baki.

Keisuke Itagaki then continued his creation with a second main chapter, which was also published in the Weekly Shōnen Champion from 1999 to 2005. Two cartoon series were drawn from this second chapter: both can be viewed on Netflixand an SRO.
