Via the official Twitter account for the animated adaptation of Japanese light novels by Hitoma Iruma and illustrated by No N., Adachi to Shimamuraa new promotional video for the series was revealed. It was also announced that the anime will premiere on Japanese television on October 8th. TBS.

Iruma started publishing this in the magazine in 2013 Dengeki Bunko Magazine with illustrations by Non (Nozomi Osaka) and consists of 8 volumes. Adachi to Shimamura also has a first three-volume manga adaptation of Mani that was published in the magazine Gangan Online from Square enix between 2016 and 2017. In May last year, he started publishing another manga based on the same story in the magazine Monthly comic Dengeki. Iruma is also the author of the Denpa novels Onna to Seishun Otoko, Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan and the spin-off Yagate Kimi ni Naru – Saeki Sayaka ni Tsuite.
