A leak from Baidu confirmed that the light novels were written by FUNA and illustrated by touzai, Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai from 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu (Save 80,000 gold in another world for my retirement), will have an anime adaptation. It is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2023, and no production details or a planned release date have been announced.

Mitsuha decides to use this ability as much as possible. Why? To save for retirement, of course. He intends to save eighty thousand gold coins and this is the story of his plans to achieve it.
