Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! Double – Chapter 7: Uzaki wants to propose to him!

uzaki is still concerned about the words sakakiwith the interactions of even more attention being paid sakurai with other people, especially women. Meeting at the university sakaki, uzaki uses his twisted logic to give a more convenient meaning to what he said sakakiand assure you of this beforehand sakurai Graduates will make him confess his love. Though unsure how to do it, in the end she decides to do it by giving her lover a bento senpai.

Preparing the bento for sakurai attracts the attention of the whole family uzakialbeit for different reasons. Although she was disabled by her whole family, hana manages to make the bento and hands it on sakurai. Although it’s the same one she made for herself, she doesn’t want her to eat it in front of anyone else.

Yanagi She was very interested in meeting the senpai her sister talks about so much, but she can never get him to introduce him to her, so she goes to him tsukiasks him where he works hana. Go to the cafeteria one day and surprise someone. hana, Yanagi introduces himself to the owner sakurai. Get to know each other and start a conversation sakurai, and even easily get him to call her by her first name. One reason why Hana wanted to keep them from talking to each other.

The tortoise beats the hare

As already suspected, the participation of Yanagi in history, there was more progress by applying pressure hana. Yes OK Yanagi He’s just a minor character in the plot, the truth is that “one more” from the list of minor characters that I sometimes think the story would be much slower without. After all, Yanagi made faster progress sakurai in less than a day hana since he met his senpai. although of course Yanagi had certain “advantages”.

Since this is an anime from romanceI think it’s at a point right now where all stories (manga and/or anime) eventually pull through, but the truth is sakaki, my tolerance for the development style of the protagonists’ relationship is decreasing more and more. I am at a point where the apology from hana: “he’s the one who’s in love with me“. Despite the fact that it was barely said a few previous episodes ago.

Although fortunately there is pressure thanks to the contribution of the secondary characters hana, the plot gradually shows the development with romantic touches between the protagonists. For example, Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! Double – Chapter 7 showed at least two of them: the interaction of sakurai Y hana with the bento (a bit cliche in middle/college romance, but it worked perfectly in it) and when sakurai correct your question about a gift for uzaki. Or was I the only one who felt like it sakurai becoming more and more aware hana like a woman?

For better or for worse, I believe that the character development is down to the supporting characters and without them the story progression would be too slow and boring. At least for now.

The future of the two

There is something that has made me a little uneasy Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! Double and is that the season started with a short scene sakurai Y hana talk about spending their first Christmas together. While the words that were broadcast didn’t necessarily refer to them being already in a romantic relationship, the truth is that this brief scene made me believe it was a taste of how Season 2 would end. However, this seventh episode already marks the beginning of the month of December in the story, so I feel this beginning of the season was unnecessary unless the days are “lengthened” in the next few chapters and arcs.

While I still hope they manage to time the season finale properly so that the season finale falls around Christmas, I won’t deny that I fear it will feel very slow when it comes down to it.

Of course, the option for this to happen before the end of the season creates an opportunity to see more of their relationship. However, I also feel that this would limit the opportunity to see another season a bit, especially soon. If that’s the case, I don’t think there should be another season until the manga finishes (if it really does end) and encompasses all of that.
