On the official website of the magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits from the publisher Shogakukanwas announced that the author Shohei Manabe (Yamikin Ushijima-kun) will begin with the release of a new manga entitled Kujou no Taizai in this year’s 46th issue of the magazine, which is scheduled for October 12th.

Manabe is also the author of the manga Yamikin Ushijima-kun, which he published in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits Magazine between May 2004 and March 2019, with a total of 46 published compilation volumes.

The work has inspired several live-action adaptations, including three series with a total of 27 episodes and four films released in August 2012, May 2014, September 2016 and October 2016, respectively.

Synopsis of Yamikin Ushijima-kun

The manga represents human drama in the world of the black market. Ushijima runs Kaukau Finance, an organization that lends money every 10 days at an illegal interest rate: “Togo” or 50%. In this work the reader learns how the black market works and how people can become so dangerous when they are connected with this type of business.
