In this year's 17th issue of the magazine Hana to Yume from the publisher Hakusensha The third and final chapter of the second part of the manga was written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya, Fruit basket: The Three Musketeers Bow last August 5th.

The magazine announced on June 19 that this chapter would be delayed indefinitely. The manga in turn began its "second season" on April 20 in the Hana to Yume magazine of the Hakusensha publishing house. The second chapter was published in the journal on June 19. The story revolves around the trio of Hatori, Shigure and Ayame who call themselves the "Three Musketeers".

Takaya published the original manga Fruit basket in the same journal between 1998 and 2006 with a total of 23 compilation volumes. The piece inspired a 26-part anime adaptation of Studio deen Headed by Akitaro Saichi and scripts written by Higuchi Tachibana, published July 2001.

The work was later adapted again to a 25-episode anime produced by the studios. TMS Entertainment, Headed by Yoshihide Ibata and scripts written by Taku Kishimoto, released in April 2019. A second season is currently on the air.

Fruit basket synopsis

After a family tragedy turned her life upside down, student Tohru Honda decides to face it with her own hands and moves ... into a tent! Unfortunately, she makes her new home on the grounds of the mysterious Souma clan, and it doesn't take long for the owners to discover her secret.

At the same time that Tohru discovers that the family will offer to house them in their enclosures, she also realizes that the Soumas have their own secret: and that is, when touched by the opposite sex, they become the animals of the zodiac ! Chinese!
